People with jobs like hair stylist need to understand that there is a very good chance their clients don't want someone that close to them that reeks of cigarette smoke.

and the hair stylist's client should understand that they wish they could just cut their client's hair with one quick swift clip from a hedge clipper, when their client comes in right after smoking a cigarette.
The stylist can "wish" whatever they want. That I agree with.
But one of the two people involved is actually paying the other.
